My name is Jacob Roos and I am a full-time photographer based in the lovely Wiltshire town of Chippenham.

My passion for photography was born unintentionally out of my career in music!

While working as a musician and music producer (which I did professionally for many years), I developed extensive marketing, media and people skills.

I honed my skills as a photographer and videographer producing music videos and photos for various musical clients including A Silent Film, Betsie Gold, Joanne Shaw Taylor and Crystal Fighters to name a few. This work led me to beautiful locations all over the world including North and South America and a substantial photography and videography project for a charity in India.

I spent my childhood in South Africa and have an innate passion for nature and the outdoors. Photography has provided me with the opportunity to travel and work with people from all over the world and all walks of life.

My partner and I both work in the creative industries, and we are parents to a Romanian rescue dog called 'Tia'. She is very photogenic... Capturing photos of her eventually led me to take on a number of pet photography assignments - some of the most challenging (and fun!) work assignments I have taken on to date!

I am always looking for opportunities to meet new people, learn about new techniques and perspectives, and add to my portfolio.
